A Glimpse of You

One should know better than to challenge the heavenly principals. Such was the mistake of the animal spirits; condemned to roam the mortal realm for eternity. They have to disguise themselves in order to live a normal life amongst humans.

Shen Lan, a human scholar disguised as a man in order to enroll in academia, meets Lu Xiao, a snake spirit who works as a dancer at a brothel. After many conflicts involving the army and imperial palace, they slowly uncover the truth behind the spirit realm, revealing Lu Xiao's past.

Set in an alternate universe ancient China, A Glimpse of You is a story about people phasing out of each other's lives. After a relationship ends, it was as if that person and their existence was all a dream.
